Far-right Jewish extremist Meir Ettinger was released on Wednesday after 10 months in administrative detention.
The State will not request an extension of the administrative detention of Meir Ettinger, the right-wing Jewish activist currently being held without charge since last year.
Right-wing activist Meir Ettinger, who has been held under administrative detention for almost six months, began a hunger strike this week. The strike is in protest of the harsh conditions he claims he is being held under.
Police and Shabak agents on Monday were interrogating Jewish activist Meir Ettinger on his involvement in “organizing extremist Jewish activities in Judea and Samaria.” Officials said that they had not yet activated administrative detention rules against Ettinger, but sources said that they would do so if he did not “cooperate.”
