NEW YORK – A supervisory agent and a telecommunications specialist for the Drug Enforcement Administration have been arrested on charges alleging they failed to notify the U.S. government they were operating an adult entertainment club in New Jersey.
A criminal complaint unsealed Wednesday in Manhattan federal court said David Polos and Glen Glover operated “Twins Plus Go-Go Lounge” in South Hackensack, New Jersey.
Authorities said the club offers scantily clad and sometimes topless women. According to court papers, the club mostly employed dancers from Brazil or Russia who were undocumented immigrants.
Polos supervised the New York Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Strike Force until last month.
Attorney Cathy Fleming said she’s confident Glover will be vindicated.
A lawyer for Polos did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
