Warriors forward Draymond Green was arrested and booked for assault early Sunday in East Lansing, Mich., after police said he was involved in a fight with another man at a restaurant.
MLive.com first reported the arrest, but an online document released Monday from 54B District Court in East Lansing confirmed the former Michigan State star was busted at 2:28 a.m. Sunday and is scheduled to be arrainged by July 20.
Police told ESPN that Green was involved in a fight with another man at Conrad’s Grill, which stays open until 3 a.m.
“It was basically an altercation between two guys,” police said. “There’s no injuries. (Green) was released with a $200 bond on Sunday.”
If convicted, Green would face a maximum of 93 days in jail and a $500 fine or both.
The Warriors announced that they were “aware of the news” in a statement Monday afternoon: “At this point, we are collecting information and will have no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation.”

A Snapchat video posted Monday showed Green taking a helicopter ride over New York City. No details were given for why he was in New York.
Green, a Michigan State product, was suspended for Game 5 of the NBA Finals for an altercation with LeBron James after escaping punishment for a kick to the groin of Oklahoma City’s Steven Adams earlier in the playoffs.
Green, 26, averaged 14.0 points and 9.5 rebounds this season to help the Warriors to an NBA record 73 wins during the regular season before they fell to James and the Cavaliers in seven games in the NBA Finals.
Green, who signed a five-year $85 million extension with Golden State last year, also is slated to represent the U.S. at the 2016 Olympics in Brazil this summer. Team USA coach Jerry Colangelo wasn’t aware of Green’s arrest and wouldn’t comment on the matter until he learns more details, according to USA TODAY Sports.
