Mila Kunis and her husband Ashton Kutcher have announced that they are expecting their second child together.
The actors welcomed their first child, daughter Wyatt, in October, 2014.
A representative for the fiercely private couple confirmed to People magazine on Wednesday that Wyatt will soon be a big sister.
The pregnancy news may come as a surprise to some fans. Just last month while Kunis was promoting new comedy Bad Moms the star insisted she was not carrying a child, despite being eager to expand her family with Kutcher.
“I’m not pregnant … but absolutely I do want to have more kids one day, for sure,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time.
Kunis and Kutcher initially met on the set of their hit sitcom That ’70s Show, but the pair did not become engaged in a romantic relationship until 2012, a year after Kutcher separated from his first wife, Demi Moore. The pair divorced in 2013.
The longtime friends married in July, 2015, at the Parrish Ranch in Oak Glen, California, surrounded by family and close friends.
Kunis has previously admitted that she has always had a soft spot for her co-star.
“My first real kiss ever was with him on the show,” Kunis told W magazine in 2014.
“We all get movie star crushes. I’m marrying mine.”
Kutcher has also made public declarations about his feelings for his bride to be.
“The most amazing thing about having a baby is my partner, Mila. She’s greatest mum – I can’t even!” Kutcher told Ellen DeGeneres last year.
“Like I go to work every day and I come home and she’s perfect. And it just seems like everything went amazing.
“And I know that something probably didn’t go amazing, but she never complains. It’s unbelievable. She’s incredible.”
