Brooklyn, NY – An enhanced photograph released by the NYPD in last week’s attempted luring of a high school girl shows a clear view of a suspect who appears to be a member of the Orthodox Jewish community.
The suspect in the incident, which took place on February 17th on E7th Street near Kings Highway, is slim, clean shaven, wearing a black yarmulka and white ear buds in his ears.
As previously reported on TOT News, police described the suspect as approximately 20 years old, 5’8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes, short black hair and a medium complexion, dressed in a white button down shirt and black jacket, pants and shoes.
The 14 year old victim was walking home from school at the time of the incident.
The suspect grabbed the victim by the arm and said to her “come here,” refusing to let go of the victim when she tried to get away. The victim finally managed to free herself and the suspect fled the scene.
Police said that they believe that the suspect touched only the girl’s arm during the encounter but that they are continuing to investigate the incident.
