BOROUGH PARK, Brooklyn — FDNY is on the scene of a major gas explosion at 13 Avenue and 43 Street in Borough Park.
More than 100 firefighters are on the scene.
EMS officials said one person is dead and three others are injured.
The injuries of those three are non-life threatening.
Authorities said 911 calls about the fire came in just after 1 p.m. The three-story home is located at 4206 13th Ave. in Borough Park.
Smoke from the fire could be seen billowing into the air from blocks away.
