BONITA SPRINGS – It has been four days since a beloved doctor and mother was found dead in her Bonita Springs home.
“Everybody in the neighborhood wants to know why, how, when, who found her, who called 911,” said neighbor Kimberly Torres.
Dr. Teresa Sievers was found at the home on Jarvis Road Monday morning.
Since then, investigators have been on scene – even blocking off the neighborhood.
Wednesday, family members watched in grief from the street as detectives focused on a broken door handle.
Described as a healer, Sievers dedicated her life to her patient’s health through holistic medicine.
“She was human before she was a doctor,” said Cammi Clark, eBella Magazine. “That came first.”
The mother of two used her influence to empower young women and mothers across Southwest Florida.
“I feel privileged to have been able to connect with her like that,” said Clark.
Just last month, she was featured in eBella Magazine. Her friends there call her a natural nurturer, often overwhelmed with joy.
“She was such a vibrant, alive person. It’s hard to think of her as… you’ll never see her again.”
Neighbors said she was in Connecticut with her husband and two daughters, but flew back alone Sunday evening before she was found dead the next day.
Everyone is still searching for answers as the investigation enters its fourth day. Investigators have been combing the area for evidence.
