Four people were injured in a shooting Saturday at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Manhattan. According to police, the victims were at a wedding party when a gun accidentally went off.
The NYPD says officers received a report of a shooting at around 7:30pm.
None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
Officials tell us that a guest accidentally discharged their weapon. One of the bullets grazed a woman on the head while others were injured from debris.
Two people were taken to Bellevue, 2 were taken to Roosevelt, and another refused treatment at the scene. All injuries were believed to be non-life threatening.
The suspect responsible for discharging his weapon is in police custody.
The Waldorf-Astoria is known for its lavish dinner parties and galas, often at the center of political and business conferences and fundraising events involving the rich and famous.
