An NYPD cop paid six women for sex acts while working undercover prostitution stings, department lawyers alleged in court on Monday.
Officer Michael Golden, 32, is on trial in the NYPD’s internal administrative court at police headquarters for the alleged misconduct and could lose his job if found guilty.
Golden’s lawyer denied the allegations, claiming the charges are preposterous.
Prosecutors have declined to bring criminal charges against Golden.
The alleged incidents spanned from January to October 2014, and included sex, fondling, groping and masturbation, at massage parlors and bars, according to trial testimony.
Typically, Golden would pay fees ranging from $40 to $300 in exchange for the sex acts.
Then, a field team made up of fellow officers would burst in and make an arrest, NYPD lawyers claimed.
In one of the incidents, Golden allegedly requested two masseuses at once, and paid each woman $80. He was manually stimulated, massaged the women’s breasts and then ran into a bathroom just before the field team entered.
The woman who first made the allegations said Golden took her to a hotel, where he groped her and exposed himself, officials said.
In a third incident, he is accused of meeting a woman at a bar and giving her $140 for oral and vaginal sex.
