An haredi child on Tuesday night threw a stone at a woman in her fifties after judging to be “not dressed modestly.”
The child escaped from the scene.
An ambulance took the lightly injured woman to Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
A squad car from Israel Police’s Beit Shemesh station searched the area for the rock-thrower.
Karin Asraf, the woman’s daughter, wrote about the incident on her Facebook page, calling it a “terror attack.”
“This is something I will not ignore,” Asraf said. “I ask, from the bottom of my heart, that you share this.
Tell people that this is what things have come to. If they still have a heart, maybe they will understand what has happened.”
“This afternoon, my mother was walking in Beit Shemesh, and one of the (expletive) decided he didn’t like that she was walking around immodestly dressed, and preferred she bleed in a hospital instead.
He threw a giant stone at her, which opened a gash in her head.
“This isn’t the first time this is happening. They’ve thrown rocks at my car, spat at us….but a rock to the head?
“Why do you even exist in this world?
“For the first time in my life, I am full of hate, and wish these people awful things. These people are worse than terrorists.
“For the first time in my life, I will work hard to cause these people to suffer. Do not touch my mother.
I am on my way to take care of my family, of my mother who was alone, bleeding and helpless, for the entire day.
I cannot even begin to tell you what is going through my mind right now. Police have opened an investigation.
“And to you, you religious terrorists, I hope life is not good to you. I hope the diety you believe in shows you that the right path is not to harm someone else’s health.”
