Kiryas Joel, NY Approximately 40 firefighters from eight different fire companies responded to a four alarm blaze in Kiryas Joel in the early morning hours of Shabbos, causing heavy damage to a three story multi-family home.
According to the Times Herald Record, the fire at 9 Taylor Court was reported at approximately 5 AM.
Only three people were in the wood and brick house when the fire broke out and all were safely evacuated.

Both the first and second floor of the house suffered major water damage.
The flames from the fire were so intense that firefighters fanned out to protect homes located behind the Taylor Court house.
