NYPD are investigating the death of a 4-month-old boy in Brooklyn.
Shabsie Tabak was in the care of a babysitter at an apartment on Driggs Ave. near Division Ave. in Williamsburg when the sitter discovered he wasn’t breathing while in a stroller Tuesday afternoon.
The sitter called a Hatzolah ambulance and notified the boy’s mother.
Tabak was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
Hospital staff then notified police around 6:15 p.m.
The babysitter told cops the baby had been fed and burped before being put in the stroller and stopped breathing.
Police said the baby’s body did not appear to have any signs of trauma.
The Medical Examiner’s office will determine the baby’s cause of death.
