A driver pulled up to a White House checkpoint at 11:05 on Saturday night and claimed to have a bomb in his car — but was arrested without incident, CNN reported.
The vehicle was being checked, sources told the network.
President Trump is at his Mar-a-Largo estate in Florida.
The scare follows two recent White House security flaps. Earlier Saturday, a man jumped over a bike rack near the fence; on March 10 a man was busted near the south entrance while trying to deliver a letter to President Trump.
