A New York woman who works for the Department of Corrections may have booked herself a room at the Crowbar Motel.
Geliesha Smith, a 26-year-old civilian employee assigned to the DOC’s Federal Narcotics Task Force, was nabbed in a prostitution sting operation at a Brooklyn motel.
Smith allegedly offered to have sex with an undercover cop for $120 at the Days Inn motel, law enforcement sources told the New York Post.
Other officers barged into the room and took Smith away in cuffs. She was charged with prostitution and released without bail.
“We have zero tolerance for any illegal behavior on the part of staff,” DOC spokesman Peter Thorne told the New York Daily News. “This employee was immediately suspended and is being terminated.”
According to the NY Post, Smith had her own Backpage ad, where her alleged services as a hooker were promoted.
“Hi Guy’s i’m LISA. This is a one of a kind experience! I have a BEAUTIFUL face to match my Sexy Petite body,” the ad reads.
Smith, who Thorne said earned $75,000 annually with the DOC, had access to “sensitive information” in her job with the Federal Narcotics Task Force, which is made up of several law enforcement agencies, a source told the Post.
Sources said Smith had access to “sensitive information” in her role at the Federal Narcotics Task Force, which is comprised of several law enforcement entities.
The agencies, which include the NYPD, US Marshals and the Drug Enforcement Administration, coordinate and share information on narcotics-related cases.
