Lebanese President Michel Aoun revealed on Wednesday that the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, likely killed a Lebanese man in Angola.
As he opened a cabinet session in Baabda presidential palace, President Aoun said the Lebanese foreign ministry was following up on the incident in which a Lebanese man was killed by gunmen in Angola earlier this week.
Aoun said information indicates that the Mossad has links to the incident.
Amine Bakri, 56-year-old Lebanese, was shot dead by gunmen in by gunmen near his workplace Sunday in the Angolan capital Luanda.
His family has said that his body will be repatriated Thursday.
The body of the man, originally from Nabatieh in south Lebanon, will be laid to rest in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf, the family said.
