Rocket sirens sounded Tuesday in the Golan Heights.
The Israeli army said it was looking into the incident as residents of the area reported hearing possible projectile fire. The military said in an initial report that no rocket or mortar fire has been identified.
The siren was heard in the southern Golan Heights communities of Avnei Eitan, Eliad, Afik, Bnei Yehuda, Givat Yoav, Gshur, Hispin, Kfar Haruv, Mevo Hama, Meitzr, Naot Golan, Nov, Natur and Ramat Magshimim.
A number of ISIS militants were killed after exchanging fire with Israeli soldiers in the Golan Heights on Sunday, in the first direct clashes between Israel and the Islamic State group.
On Sunday night a second round of Israeli airstrikes targeted a facility controlled by ISIS fighters in the Syrian Golan Heights, according to the IDF spokesperson’s unit.
