A 26-year-old Connecticut man went missing after attending a party at a Midtown apartment, and police are investigating whether foul play was involved, sources said.
Joseph Comunale, 26, of Stamford, was reported missing on Monday following a weekend bash at an apartment building on East 59th Street near First Avenue.
Cops discovered what they suspect are his bloody clothes in a garbage bag near the premises earlier in the day, the sources said.
Comunale — a Hofstra University grad who works as a sales associate at Tri-Ed Ltd. — had been partying with friends and was visiting the son of a well-known jeweler who lives in the apartment building at the time, according to the sources.
A person who identified himself as Comunale’s father told The Post he was working with the NYPD to find his son.
“They’re on it,” he said when reached by phone. “If I find out anything I’ll let you know.”
