Israel has held a joint air exercise with France on the island of Corsica for the past two weeks.
It is the first time that Israeli pilots have joined their French counterparts in French airspace.
The joint exercise focused on aerial battles, involving Israeli F-15s and French Rafale jets.
A number of fans shot photos in recent days of the Israeli F-15 “Baz” jets as well as the Boeing 707 nicknamed Ram.
Aerial cooperation between the two countries is mainly through naval squadrons. The two countries also held joint exercises at the beginning of this year with search and rescue missions as well as a scenario of a naval attack on Israel.

The Israeli Air Force has held joint exercises with several countries around the world, recently in the United States with air forces from Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Spain and the United States.
The IAF, which also has close contacts with the Greek air force, held a joint exercise on Mt. Olympus two months ago.
