UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan – Police are investigating after a body was found in the Russian Consulate Tuesday morning.
Around 7 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious man inside 9 E. 91 St., which is the Russian Consulate.
According to the New York City Police Department, a 63-year-old male with trauma to the head, was found unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the deceased has not been released.
