Police on Wednesday released surveillance video showing a vicious sucker-punch that led to the death of a 64-year-old man in Queens.
Patrick Gorman was walking near the corner of Queens Boulevard and Main Street in Briarwood when he was approached by a man and a woman just after midnight June 26.
The video shows the male suspect punching Gorman, who is seen falling squarely on his back as the duo calmly ambles off.
The victim tries to get back on his feet and then collapses.
Gorman was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he later died.
The medical examiner has yet to declare the official cause of Gorman’s death. The incident has not yet been deemed a homicide.
The male suspect is described as in his 30s and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, sneakers and holding a black bag.
The woman had a short hairstyle and wore glasses. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and sandals.
