Among the recent headlines bringing into focus the sexual behavior and inclinations of U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, there are also reports scrutinizing Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s sexuality.
Many news sources have been questioning her sexual orientation.
Unsubstantiated rumors have been circulating asserting that despite being married to former president Bill Clinton, Hillary is a lesbian.
For instance, The Drudge Report’s Matt Drudge has issued a warning that he is preparing to publish details of Hillary Clinton’s sexual preferences. Suggestions and rumors that Clinton is a lesbian are not new.
As far back as 2007, the London Times, among other foreign news sources, accused her of having an affair with her top aide, Huma Abedin, reports the Drudge Report.
The news source adds that even in the 1990s, rumors persisted that she was secretly accepting of Bill Clinton’s extramarital affairs because of her lesbian tendencies.
Other news sources, such as The American Reviewer, have asserted that Hillary Clinton is bi-sexual.
A recent report quoting excerpts from Edward Klein’s book “The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, And How Far She’ll Go To Become President,” includes passages pointing to her embrace of lesbianism as a political statement more than as a sexual practice.
Klein is quoted as saying that Hillary is actually asexual.
No matter the truth is about Hillary Clinton’s sexuality, various news sources have independently and publicly decided her sexual orientation for her. Opinions and rumors continue to circulate with no substantive evidence offered to prove or confirm them. Hillary Clinton’s own comments and statements over the years in response to such public conclusions make no difference.
As quoted by The American Reviewer, while denying the veracity of such rumors about being a lesbian, Hillary Clinton told a national gay magazine Advocate that “People will say what they want to say.”
