Police have arrested the woman who shot an NYPD detective with a pellet gun in Queens last week, and are on the hunt for a second suspect, authorities said.
The on-duty plainclothes detective was sitting in an unmarked car near Jamaica Avenue and 168th Street when Tiara Ferebee, 24, fired the air gun and struck him in the forehead around 5 p.m. last Wednesday.
The detective was not seriously injured and was treated at a local hospital.
Cops are on the lookout for a second woman in Suffolk County, believed to be the driver, police sources said.
Authorities are also investigating whether or not Ferebee could possibly be connected to other pellet shootings in Suffolk County.
The hoodie-clad woman declined comment as she was walked from 103 precinct just before noon Sunday.
The Riverhead, LI resident is presently awaiting arraignment at Queens Criminal Court, where she will be arraigned on charges of attempted murder of a police officer, assault on a police officer with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
