NYPD shot a man in the arm early Tuesday in Brooklyn as they tried to arrest him, police sources said.
Officers went to a building on Tompkins Ave. near Gates Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant about 9 a.m. to serve an arrest warrant.
During a confrontation with the suspect they shot and wounded him, police said.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and is being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound, police said.
