An ex-NYPD cop pleaded guilty Wednesday in Brooklyn Federal Court to pimping out an underage prostitute.
Eduardo Cornejo, 34, admitted in Brooklyn Federal Court that he drove the 16-year-old girl to motels in Brooklyn and Staten Island for hookups with johns.
Cornejo claimed that he did not know the girl was under 18 at the time she was turning tricks. He also admitted that he placed online ads for prostitutes advertising their services even while he was free on bail.
“Why did you post the ads?” the judge asked.
To be honest, bad judgment,” Cornejo replied.
The disgraced former cop, who was kicked off the force for marijuana use, faces more than 10 years in prison for conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking when he is sentenced in December.
