A nude woman threatening to jump from an air conditioner in a third-floor window in Marble Hill was rescued by police on Saturday.
The late-morning drama unfolded when the unclothed woman climbed out of a she climbed out of a window at a residential building on Marble Hill Avenue near Fort Charles Place, police said.
At about 11 a.m., several people saw the woman perched precariously on the air conditioner and called 911.
Highly trained officers from the Emergency Service Unit responded and eventually pulled her back into the building.
Rescuers clothed the woman and then put her on a stretcher. She was taken to North Central Bronx Hospital, where she will undergo a psychiatric emulation.
The woman, whose name was not released, is not expected to charged, police sources said.
