A Bronx man was arrested when cops spotted him cruising through several red lights in a vehicle he converted to look like an undercover police car, equipped with flashing lights and fake police radios, authorities said.
Christopher Cruz, 40, was pulled over when cops saw the fishy looking black Ford sedan with a light kit installed in the front and back speeding down Rosedale Avenue around 6 p.m. Sunday.
The driver had the flashing lights turned on as he blew through a number of stoplights before finally pulling over.
Inside the fake cop car, the real police officers found a knife, cocaine, marijuana and a stun gun.
He was also carrying a Roosevelt Island Search and Rescue shield, several police scanners, handcuffs, mace and an EMS safety vest.
Cruz was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and criminal impersonation.
