During Thursday night’s Global Lyme Alliance Gala, Yolanda Foster announced that her children Bella Hadid and Anwar Hadid have been diagnosed with Lyme disease.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 51, dropped the bombshell during her award acceptance speech.
“This award is for Anwar and Bella,” she said of her teens, who were diagnosed in 2012, like her.
“This is my token and my promise to you that I will not allow you to live a life of pain and suffering.”
Bella, 19, and Anwar, 16, along with their sister, Gigi Hadid, 20, were on hand for the event, which raised $3 million, and walked the red carpet with their mom.
Foster hasn’t been shy about battling Lyme disease as television cameras have captured much of her struggle over the last several years.
“I honestly don’t have the proper words in my vocabulary to describe to you the darkness, the pain and the unknown hell I’ve lived,” she said.
Bella, who put on a strong face of support, shared a red carpet snap with her brother and sister.
“Celebrating #LymeDiseaseAwareness tonight with my beautiful family,” it read. “#SearchingForACure … We love you mommy @YolandaFoster.”
