A 24-year-old man has been charged over an alleged terror plot to join Islamic State and attack US military personnel in the UK.
Junead Ahmed Khan is accused of preparing a terrorism act between 10 May and 14 July this year, the Crown Prosecution Service said.
He has also been charged, along with his uncle Shazib Ahmed Khan, 22, with a further terrorism offence for allegedly planning to travel to Syria to join Islamic State.
The men, both from Luton, are to appear at Westminster magistrates court on Tuesday.
