Little Miss Dangerous, indeed!
NYPD cop Stacey Staniland lived up to her biker nickname Wednesday morning when she was arrested for the third time in eight months — after she slammed her motorcycle into two cars on Staten Island.
The New Brighton resident was turning her Honda CBR600RR from Davis Avenue onto Henderson Avenue just after 11 a.m. when she spun out and smashed into the vehicles at a red light.
Fellow cops soon showed up, and as Staniland was pulling out her ID, officers spotted needles, a silver spoon and drug residue inside her bag, authorities said.
Stacey Staniland, 29, was most recently arrested Tuesday night after crashing a motorcycle in Staten Island, cops said. She is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic needle and driving an unregistered motorcycle.
Cops spotted the drug paraphernalia when Staniland reached into her bag to get identification, according to police.
In December, Staniland broke into the Staten Island home of her mother’s boyfriend and stole jewelry, which she later pawned, police said. She was arrested soon after.
She was again arrested in May on charges of possession of a hypodermic needle and criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
Staniland was temporarily suspended after the first two incidents, which are still working their way through the courts.
Police said Staniland would be suspended again on the most recent arrest.
