A scheming, Lamborghini-driving NYPD cop raped a woman he met on a domestic-violence call, then threatened to expose sexy photos he secretly took if she reported him, according to a Brooklyn federal court complaint.
The alleged victim claims Officer Harold Avalos targeted her after he came to her Queens home in September 2012 to respond to a dispute with her then-common-law husband, court papers say.
Avalos then relentlessly began courting her, while allegedly convincing her husband to file a trumped-up theft charge against her.
Avalos told the woman she was going to be arrested and desperately needed his counsel, she claims.
In December 2012, on her birthday, Avalos took her out to a bar for some celebratory drinks and plied her with booze, the papers state.
The woman — who is seeking $15 million from the city and from Avalos — claims that she woke up naked in bed with the cop the next morning and that he told her they had had sex. She thinks she was drugged.
“He showed her naked pictures of herself and pictures of them having sex and also told her he had taken a video,” the complaint states.
He also allegedly threatened to kill her family if she talked.
“You don’t know how crazy I am,” he allegedly said.
Terrified, the woman met Avalos at a motel in March 2013 after he agreed to delete the images and he raped her again, she claims.
Her ex then contacted NYPD Internal Affairs.
“A decision on whether he will be terminated is now before Commissioner Bratton,” the papers state.
Avalos, who has not been charged criminally, could not be reached for comment.
The woman’s attorney, Steven Hoffner, said Avalos had previously dated a woman who was involved in a domestic incident.
