A creepy Upper West Side landlord who was busted for allegedly secretly filming his live-in maid was hit with additional charges Monday for filming another woman, authorities said.
Eli Kadoch, first arrested in 2014 when his maid said she found a hidden camera in a clock, was again charged after authorities claimed they found more illicit videos on his computer.
The videos of the second woman, a resident of Kadoch’s building, were discovered after prosecutors executed a search warrant on the 48-year-old suspect’s hard drive.
The original bust occurred last July. Kadoch was nabbed for secretly filming Aksana Kuzmitskaya, who lived at his nine-unit brownstone on West 82nd Street, cops said.
The twenty-something Kuzmitskaya received room and board from Kadoch in exchange for doing cleaning chores, her Manhattan civil suit says.
When Kuzmitskaya, a computer-science grad student, allegedly spotted a lens embedded in a bathroom clock, she called police.
Kuzmitskaya, a Belarus native, took apart the clock and found a USB drive inside that contained more than 70 images of her “in intimate and private acts . . . using the bathroom, in her underwear, naked, and in the act of showering,” her suit states.
“It also caught her “engaged in a sexually explicit act.”
The most damning evidence was perhaps an image that showed her boss “installing the camera within the digital clock,” says the criminal complaint.
“I think, maybe, he was trying to adjust the angle to get a better view,” said Kuzmitskaya’s attorney, Joseph Mure Jr.
At his arraignment Monday in Manhattan Supreme Court, Kadoch pleaded not guilty to 67 counts of unlawful surveillance.
Prosecutors said they intend to consolidate the new charges with the earlier case.
