NEW YORK – Authorities have made a massive heroin bust in the Bronx.
New York City’s Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Brennan will announce the bust at a Tuesday news conference.
It is the largest Drug Enforcement Administration heroin seizure in New York and the 4th largest seizure in the country, authorities say.
The seizure in the Fieldston section involved over 70 kilograms of heroin, $2 million cash and a firearm that were recovered.
The heroin arrest resulted in a raid of an apartment building in the Riverdale section.
